Hello, friends. Last time I talked about the wonderful spice turmeric, creating an atmosphere of oriental flavor and tranquility. Today the topic is somewhat different - from aromatic spices we will move on to a wonderful gift from nature, which is already more than a thousand years old. Let's reveal the secrets of what mummy is, what it treats, what beneficial properties and contraindications it has. I think this topic will be of interest to many readers.
Mumiyo - what is it?
Mumiyo was known to the ancient Indians, Chinese and Tibetans. In ancient times, many doctors considered it almost a panacea for many ailments and was very much appreciated. Even in the Middle Ages, sellers managed to counterfeit goods by adding various impurities to them.
Real (not fake) mumiyo looks like a dark brown resinous mass with a shiny surface. If you rub it between your fingers, it begins to melt. It dissolves well in water without leaving any sediment. Dissolved, it looks like strong tea leaves. This is how you can identify a real pure mumiyo. If the product turns out to be fake, then there will always be sediment in the water, including impurities of earth, sand, organic and other elements. It tastes like a bitter substance with a specific odor.
It is still not known where this substance came from. Some believe that this is a waste product of ancient wild bees that created hives in rock crevices. Others are mummified feces of mountain mice - voles. Still others believe that it is a mineral-organic substrate, something like oil, located deep underground, that is, a product of the development of the most ancient eras of our planet.
Mumiyo is more common in mountainous areas, it can be found in North and South America, China, Mongolia, India, Nepal, Australia, North Africa, Central Asia, Altai and Caucasus, Southern Urals... And this is not a complete list of places where you can find mountain resin.

The resin contains mineral elements that help preserve the beauty and youth of the skin. It is often added to creams, lotions, masks and used to get rid of wrinkles, stretch marks, age spots, cellulite and various impurities. In addition, it has a tightening and rejuvenating effect, nourishes and moisturizes hair, and eliminates split ends. Regular use of wax will help maintain the positive effect on your skin and hair for a long time.
Classic usage scheme:

- Pour warm water in a volume of 50 ml per 5 grams of raw material and dissolve thoroughly.
- Add to daily shampoo, cream, extract, and use as intended.
- Add to herbal decoctions, freeze as cubes, and use to wipe the face.
Chemical composition
The composition of mumiyo is not uniform, depending on the place where it was found. After all, the composition of a substance usually depends on the area in which it is found. Typically, the composition of rocks in different parts of the planet is also far from the same.
However, scientists have come to the conclusion that mumiyo is rich in many useful substances that are essential for metabolic processes in the body and regeneration processes in tissues.
Mumiyo is rich in biologically active substances; it is a rich complex of substances, including

Mumiyo, which is found in the mountains, is subject to primary processing, which includes dissolution, filtration, and the resulting solution must be dried. Only in this case you will receive a pure product that will not cause any trouble, and you will get a positive result during treatment.
