Stomatofit: instructions for use of the drug

Despite the lightning-fast development of the pharmacological industry and the emergence of more and more innovative drugs with various spectrums of action, many remain faithful to herbal medicinal medicines. In this regard, we propose to inspect a complex drug for the therapeutic treatment of diseases of the oral cavity - Stomatofit, the instructions for use for which we will analyze in more detail.

2 style=”text-align: center;”>General characteristics of Stomatophyte

Stomatophyte is intended to combat diseases of the oral cavity.

The drug is a concentrated solution with complex action. Its natural components actively fight pathogens in the oral cavity, providing an antiseptic, astringent, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect. Direct indications for the use of Stomatofit are indicated directly in the instructions. This:

  • gingivitis;
  • stomatitis;
  • periodontal disease;
  • bleeding gums;
  • glossitis;
  • other inflammatory diseases.

Please note that the manufacturer has developed a new form of the drug - Stomatofit A. Its main difference is that it has a thicker consistency. Easily fixing on the affected area, Stomatofit A provides a long-term therapeutic effect.

Important: both drugs are intended for both monotherapy and complex treatment, allowing interaction with other medicinal substances.

Turning to the instructions for use of Stomatofit A, we note significant differences in the method of its use compared to Stomatofit. Let's see what the main differences are.

3 style=”text-align: center;”>Dosage and method of administration

The method of using Stomatofit is quite simple, but it is extremely important to remember that it is intended for external use only. To prepare the rinse solution, the following proportions have been experimentally developed. Immediately before manipulation, 10 milliliters of Stomatofit extract should be diluted in a quarter glass of purified water. We recommend using the included measuring spoon to determine the correct dosage.

Tip: if for some reason you do not have access to a measuring spoon, you can easily replace it with a regular tablespoon. In this case, you need to dilute 1 tablespoon of extract in 0.5 ml of water.

The instructions presented in the package insert recommend using Stomatofit A as a solution for treating the oral mucosa. In this case, you should immediately use the prepared extract in the bottle, without additional dilution with water. After eating, moisten a cotton swab with the solution and treat the inflamed areas of the mouth with it.

Attention: after the manipulations, it is forbidden to drink water, eat or rinse your mouth. Otherwise, the desired therapeutic effect will not be achieved.

The duration and frequency of procedures depends on the complexity of the disease and the doctor’s prescriptions in your particular case. If there are no other indications, rinsing with Stomatofit or treatment with Stomatofit A should be carried out 3-4 times a day for one to two weeks. In some cases, it makes sense to extend the course.

An affordable analogue of Stomatofit according to indications for use is the drug Rotocan. Find out what it contains and how to use Rotocan solution correctly.

3 style=»text-align: center;»>Main components of the extract
As we have already noted, the composition of the Stomatofit solution is completely natural and contains plant raw materials. All components of the liquid extract have their targeted effect. Briefly, we will describe the medicinal properties of each of them:

  • chamomile flowers have a powerful anti-inflammatory effect and have a calming effect;
  • peppermint and sage, and more specifically, its leaves, have an analgesic, antispasmodic and bactericidal effect;
  • common thyme herb has a powerful antimicrobial and disinfectant effect;
  • arnica herb is known for its tonic effect on the central nervous system, as well as sedative and decongestant properties;
  • Calamus root is indispensable for fungal infections and has a local anesthetic effect;
  • oak bark contains tannins, which determines its wound-healing and astringent properties.

Such a rich, carefully selected composition makes the use of Stomatofit very effective. In this case, the determining factor is its correct use and following the instructions of the attending physician.

2 style=”text-align: center;”>Stomatophyte during pregnancy and treatment of children

Stomatofit A.

The plant components of the extract can provoke serious allergic reactions and also cause unwanted side effects when treating pregnant women. That is why it is extremely important to strictly follow the doctor’s recommendations when using Stomatofit solution during pregnancy. By the way, only a competent specialist should prescribe it, having assessed all the risks and possible benefits of treatment.

Short-term use of the extract in compliance with all prescribed precautions does not pose a threat to the fetus and the course of pregnancy as a whole, since the solution does not enter the circulatory system.

There are also specific features of using the drug in children. The instructions for use of Stomatofit in childhood indicate that it is indicated only after 6 years, or even at a later age. The reasons for this are possible allergic reactions to the components of the extract. In addition, not all children at this age can control the swallowing process, which can lead to the solution getting into the body. Instructions for use of Stomatofit for children over six years of age suggest reducing the amount of extract by the specified volume of water and reducing the frequency of procedures to once a day. Naturally, all manipulations must be carried out under the strict supervision of adults.

3 style=”text-align: center;”>Precautions and contraindications

Stomatofit solution is strictly prohibited for people with existing allergies to plants of the genus Asteraca (chamomile, arnica) and other components of the drug. Otherwise, in most cases, Stomatofit is tolerated quite well.

There have been no cases of overdose of Stomatofit extract, provided that the patient complies with the instructions for use. However, if the solution accidentally enters the body, you must immediately take enterosorbents and consult with your doctor about further actions.

During the course of treatment, temporary side effects are possible, such as:

  • darkening of tooth enamel due to the presence of tannins;
  • unpleasant herbal taste during mouth rinsing or applications;
  • burning sensation on the mucous membrane during the procedure.

Important: we remind you that Stomatofit is produced exclusively in the form of a plant extract of varying degrees of viscosity, and not in the form of an ointment or gel, which is clearly indicated in the instructions for use. Be careful and don't buy fakes!

Even if you are an ardent opponent of drugs based on herbal substances and do not believe in their healing properties, we advise you not to reject the possibility of using Stomatofit. Its analgesic effect and speed of action will certainly please you! And are the principles worth enduring unnecessary pain? Be healthy!
